The U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight (HF) program showcases the evolution of USAF air power by seamlessly integrating today’s cutting-edge fighter aircraft into close formation flights with vintage Air Force fighter planes.

These HF formations feature modern fighters flying alongside military aircraft from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam era, including iconic planes like the P-51 Mustang, P-38 Lightning, P-47 Thunderbolt and F-86 Sabre. These displays vividly illustrate the rich legacy of U.S. Air Force air power.

When the B-25B Raider restoration is completed, this historic bomber will have the exciting opportunity to participate in national anthem Heritage Flights across major sporting events, parades, and air shows across the country alongside the state-of-the-art Northrop B-21 Raider, named after the Doolittle Raiders and currently in production, to honor the USAF’s remarkable heritage.
